Normally associated with sepia tinted visuals and sunkissed productions from the likes of Chuck Enzo and Capriisun, Group BraCil welcomes a very different but equally enigmatic character to its catalog.
‘The Future’ and ‘Sinking’, two deep dub like cuts that demonstrate just a fraction of How Du’s musical scope.

Despite their barren landscapes and ominous components, both are dense with texture and evolve in a very organic fashion, taking you to a place where machine and man move as one.

How Du, a concept figure born from the mind of Bristol beat stalwart Simiah, has had a few notable incarnations already. One comes in the form of ‘The landing’ on Banoffee Pies and second is a feature on his alter ego (or in this case true identity) Simiah’s ‘Tiesa’ EP, blurring the lines of whose really powering who here?

With past plays on Morriarchi’s Swamp 81 guest mixes as well keen advocate and NTS DJ LASKA giving the mechanical agent plenty of love, its likely your will be hearing more How Du on your airwaves soon.
